Friend.
I still sleep on my side of the bed.
The other side has not changed.
I have not touched it.
People keep telling me
I should redecorate.
Move things around.
Make it feel different.
And I understand why they say that.
But what they do not understand
is that the room staying the same
is not the problem.
It is the only comfort I have.
This room still knows them.
And as long as I stay in it
so do I.
I am not ready to change that.
Not yet.
Maybe not ever.
And I think that is okay.
